Mythos Monsters: Eldritch Evils for DnD 5E and Pathfinder 1E & 2E

Hi all,

We've been working hard to get our Backerkit survey together and hope we can get it approved before the weekend so we can send it out to you! A few technical glitches are being worked out with the Backerkit team, but then we'll send out a "smoke test" that goes to 5% of backers so we can check and see if there's anything in there that's not clear or creating confusion. We can then make any needed final tweaks and send it out to everyone. That survey will collect shipping information and shipping charges, as well as giving an opportunity to add things you might have missed. One extra item I've added is 5E, PF1, and PF2 versions of our Latin American Monsters bestiary from last summer. Sure, there's nothing inherently eldritch horror about that setting, but for fans of our bestiary books who might have missed it, it's a fantastic resource for amazing monsters rarely seen at the gaming table for all three systems! 

As far as files, we've had a number of folks who have been missing files from our mailings via DrivethruRPG. We've sent those out individually and will continue to do so, but we've also checked with some of the folks there and have a couple of quick suggestions:

• Check your Spam Folder: Since Drivethru emails go out to a LOT of people, they often end up diverted into spam folders rather than your main inbox. If you are missing an email from them, check there first. This is true even if you got one email (like for your main Mythos Monster book) fine but not the others.
• Make Sure You Are Logged in at Drivethru: It sounds silly, but it's happened before more than a few times where people couldn't find their files because they were on the page but not *IN* the page. As a security feature, Drivethru automatically logs you out after a certain amount of time, so be sure that even if you're on the Drivethru page that you're actually in your account. 

• To Find Your Downloads, Go to My Library: Once you're in DrivethruRPG, you can click the My Library tab you see in the image above, or you can go to your account page and right at the top should be a rectangle marked as My Library. Click on All titles and that will take you to a search bar page, where you can search for the items you want by title. DrivethruRPG *should* send you an email when you are "gifted" a free product, but even if you didn't receive that email you should be able to search for your files there.

We want to thank each of you for your amazing support of this project, with tips of the tentacle to backer #700 Ramon, #800 Buckaroo, and our very last backer, who (in keeping with the impossible breaches in reality) somehow managed to add their pledge 2 minutes AFTER the Kickstarter ENDED! Viva la Jordan and thank you for jumping on board the Mythos train! 

• DrivethruRPG Downloads: We are compiling and downloading the backer report now and will be sending out PDFs through DrivethruRPG. You'll receive download codes from them and have to log into your account to access them. Accounts there are free and easy to use to keep all your gaming files organized! 
• Backerkit and Addresses: We'll be getting our Backerkit survey set up ASAP so you can upload your address and pay for whatever shipping charges (if any) may be associated with your pledge. You'll also have a chance to grab any extra items you were thinking about but didn't have the chance to add during the campaign.
• Late Pledges: A few people emailed me separately about making a pledge this weekend or next week due to cash flow, and I'm happy to help with anyone who wants to do that. Just have them email me at [email protected] and I can send a Paypal request for the items they want to add.
• Retailer Pledges: If you are a retailer and want to order items from this Kickstarter for your store, I'll be sending out an email to you shortly to make arrangements.

• COMING SOON, Our Next Quick-Starter: ASIAN MONSTERS! We have other big projects coming this year too, but our Quick-Starter team is hard at work on our next side project with immediate fulfillment, and that is an incredible book of monsters drawn from across Asia and the Western Pacific, from India to Indonesia, Japan to Laos, China to the Philippines, Korea to Australia, and more! Created in partnership with a terrific team of Asian authors, artists, and consultants with roots in many cultures, this book is a terrific resource with around 90 monsters ready for you. Asian Monsters 5E is already done from last year's 5E-only Quickstarter, but the Pathfinder 1E book is heading to layout tonight and the Pathfinder 2E book is coming along quickly. This project will launch in July or August, depending on when some other things come together, but if you liked this project, we hope you'll check it out!

Thanks to each and every one of you for making this QUICKstarter a success, with a special shout-out to backer #500 Ares P. and backer #600 just this afternoon, Eryk F.! We are on the road to a fantastic finish 

• We've added a new Mythos Madness Multipack pledge level for 5E to go along with the PF1 and PF2 versions for folks who want to pair our fantastic Fates of Madness horror card game with their book! 
• Speaking of 5E, I went down to the garage and counted up our stock of Mythos Monsters books and found two more boxes of them, so in addition to the Multipack we've added 50 more copies of Mythos Monsters 5E that you can get as a base pledge. If you joined up and saw that it was sold out, fear not, we've got more available for you! 
• Our Foundry VTT developer has completed his first pass on the Mythos Monsters PF2 edition! In going through the book with a fine-toothed comb, he also found some last-minute edits, which we sent over to layout and already have been completed and sent back, so the PDF is ready to go out when the KS ends. The Foundry module is still in process, but we should have it ready in July as originally planned.
• For those who loved our other Quick-starter bestiaries, we are almost done with Asian Monsters PF1 (I think there are maybe 3 stat blocks left to finish) and it'll be heading to layout soon. PF2 is approaching the halfway point. We'll see where things slot in schedule-wise, but we are excited to bring that project to you for PF1 and PF2, and for 5E too for anyone who missed that Quick-starter last year.

Mythos Adventures and More Madness for 5E!

We thank each and every one of you for your fantastic support during the project's opening week, with special shout-outs to Dante P. as backer #300 and Jozef B. as #400! We have just passed the halfway mark in this grand adventure, and we are excited to announce that we have kept swinging our collective hammers on the Foundry side and have now secured several folks starting projects for us there, including of course Mythos Monsters! 

Since Foundry is most popular with the Pathfinder 2E and D&D 5E player base, we are offering those two versions for Foundry. The numbers we've seen don't look like there's nearly as much of a PF1 base on that VTT, so for now we are not creating a Foundry version of that, though we might in the future. 

Since we are just getting started, Foundry modules of course won't be done right away (unlike the other offerings on our QUICKstarter), but we expect they should be finished sometime in July and available for you. 

Once again, our thanks and appreciation for your support. Please help spread the word, especially to fans who may have been waiting for expanded VTT support before jumping on board! Remember, it all ends next Thursday night! THE STARS ARE RIGHT!!!
